The truth is that WE are the people. We are diverse, we are proud, & we are powerful. The truth is we, The People, are the power.

I decided to join the march in DC this year to affirm my own truths. My truths come from my intersections, and these intersections are often in the margins of this movement. My truth is that I am queer, I am brown, I am an immigrant, and I am poor. The unfortunate but unsurprising truth about the women’s march is that it lacks inclusionary of my full truths. My truth is intersectional.

THE TRUTH IS INTERSECTIONAL.
